EECVC 2020 Report – Computer Vision and Machine Learning

Dear friends,

As you know, on July 23 and 30 2020 we had the FIFTH edition of Eastern European Computer Vision conference online on ZOOM.

Here is a wrap-up from the event we would like to share.

We had:

  • 600 registrations (CV/ML Engineers and Researchers);
  • 4 speakers from England, Turkey, USA, Czech Republic;
  • 2 days.

The topics of the event were the following:

  • OPTICAL FLOW. Fatma Guney (Ph.D., a postdoc at the University of Oxford, Asst. Prof. at Koc University in Istanbul);
  • COMPUTER VISION AND ROBOTICS IN AGRICULTURE. Amy Tabb (Ph.D., US Department of Agriculture);

  • STATE OF THE ART IN ROBUST GEOMETRY ESTIMATION. Daniel Barath (Ph.D., the Center of Machine Perception in the Czech Tech University);
  • EFFICIENT DEEP MODELS VIA NETWORK BINARIZATION/QUANTIZATION. Adrian Bulat (Research scientist at Samsung AI Cambridge, UK).
