Dr. Bogdan Savchynskyy

Bogdan Savchynskyy is a researcher and group leader at the Visual Learning Lab of Heidelberg University. His main research interests are optimization problems for image and video analysis, in particular inference and learning with discrete graphical models. He wrote a text-book on graphical models, and has a number of publications in top venues such as CVPR, NIPS, ICCV/ECCV, PAMI, where he also regularly serves as a reviewer. The work under his guidance was awarded The Best Student Paper Award at CVPR 2014.
