EECVC news: more co-founders – better for the conference!
Dear colleagues,
One year ago I decided that to support the growth of my child EECVC more “parents” were needed.
This way the conference would benefit from involved bright people by becoming more interesting and diverse in terms of topics and of ideas.
After the post “Lets turn EECVC into the leading technical conference in the field of CV / ML in Eastern and Central Europe” was published, about 20 people contacted me.
I am happy to announce that EECVC recently has received 2 more awesome parents and equal co-founders:
1. DMYTRO MISHKIN – Computer vision researcher at Czech Technical University in Prague. Co-founder of Research Group “Szkocka”. Dmytro strongly believes in Eastern Europe becoming one of the leaders in AI and does his best to make it happen.
2. VIKTOR SDOBNIKOV – Hands-on and managerial experience in commercial and R&D projects in the field of computer vision and patterns recognition, co-organizer of the master’s specialization “Mathematical Methods of Patterns Recognition and Computer Vision”, Institute of Physics and Technology, KPI. He is confident that EECVC makes growing Eastern European CV&ML community stronger”
I am sure that 3 of us will make the conference stronger and more interesting for CV/ML community – you will have a chance to experience it this year on the 6th and 7th of July :=)
