In 2016 we hosted our first conference on computer vision and machine learning in Eastern Europe, which got a lot of attention and gathered more than 160 R&D engineers in the fields of computer vision (CV) and machine learning (ML) from 9 countries (see 2016 Report).
An after party paired with ANIME festival became a remarkable ending of the conference.
Our speakers presented very interesting reports from their own practical experience, including James Pitts (DARPA, Center for Machine Perception), talking about the visual recognition of unconstrained images and Eugene Khvedchenya (CV consultant) presenting image processing on FPGAs.
In 2017 we decided to make a focus on the exchange of experiences between Eastern Europe and Silicon Valley, and the growing use of Machine Learning in Computer Vision.
Call for speakers (researchers and practitioners) from Eastern Europe is also active.
The date for this year event is already determined – July 14, 2017 (see ‘Contacts’).
Since our focus is on creating a sustainable long-term community in computer vision and machine learning, for the second year we welcome to our conference only practicing computer vision and machine learning engineers, but we cover the cost of participation.
To register as a guest or a speaker, please fill out the form (http://eecvc.com/register-now ).
We will confirm your participation after considering each application.
This year, we will combine EECVC’s after party with Odessa International Film Festival – it will be very unusual and entertaining!
We promise two very intense days, useful for the development of our guests’ knowledge and networking!
See you at the #EECVC 2017!
